Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines

Authors are requested to submit only manuscripts that have been thoroughly proofread and checked for clarity, coherence, and originality. Manuscripts submitted to Vistar Sosiotech Journal are accepted with the understanding that they represent original work, interdisciplinary research, or extended versions of previously published conference papers related to social sciences and technology. If the work has received any form of official sponsorship or funding, authors must ensure that it has been properly authorized for open publication.

Before submission, authors must prepare their manuscripts using the official Vistar Sosiotech Journal paper template. Authors are required to refer to the journal manuscript template (available in .DOCX format) and strictly follow the formatting guidelines. The use of reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote is strongly recommended, and all references must follow the IEEE citation style. Manuscripts that do not comply with the journal’s formatting rules or publication ethics will not be processed for peer review.

All manuscripts must be written in English.

The journal does not accept submissions via email. All manuscripts must be submitted through the Online Journal System (OJS). Authors who do not yet have an account must register before submitting their manuscript.

The manuscript file must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx). The recommended manuscript length should not exceed 15 pages, including tables, figures, and references.

Manuscripts must be formatted according to the official Vistar Sosiotech Journal template, which can be downloaded from the journal’s website.

The manuscript is recommended to follow this structure:

  • Introduction

  • Methodology

  • Results

  • Discussion

  • Conclusion

Authors are advised to avoid including trivial or widely accepted concepts; instead, such material should be properly cited when relevant.

The References section must include a minimum of 20 references, preferably from reputable international journals published within the last five years. At least 80% of the cited references should be journal articles.

During submission, authors are required to upload a Publication Ethics Statement. Detailed information related to ethical standards, plagiarism, authorship, conflicts of interest, and publication malpractice can be found in the Publication Ethics section of the journal’s website.

Each submitted manuscript will undergo a double-blind peer review process conducted by at least two qualified reviewers. All review activities are managed online through the journal management system, and authors may monitor the status of their submission via their personal dashboard.

The editorial decision timeline may vary depending on the quality, completeness, and review process of the manuscript. Therefore, the editorial board does not guarantee a specific publication schedule.
