Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines

Authors should submit only manuscripts that have been thoroughly proofread and edited for clarity, grammar, and accuracy. Manuscripts are accepted with the understanding that they are original works or extended versions of previously published conference papers, and that if the research has received institutional or official sponsorship, it has been duly authorized for open publication.

Before submission, please ensure that your manuscript has been prepared using the Vistar Tech Journal official paper template. Authors must refer to the journal’s template (available in .DOCX or LaTeX) and adhere to the formatting requirements. The use of reference management tools such as EndNote, Mendeley, or Zotero with IEEE citation style is strongly recommended. Manuscripts that do not comply with these guidelines will not be processed further.

Author’s Guide

  1. Manuscripts submitted to Vistar Tech Journal must contain scientific and technological research results related to Information Technology, Computer Science, and Applied Technology, and must be written in English.

  2. Vistar Tech Journal does not accept submissions via email. All manuscripts must be submitted through the Online Journal System (OJS). Authors who have not registered are required to create an account prior to submission.

  3. Submitted manuscripts must be in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).

  4. The manuscript length should not exceed 15 pages, including figures, tables, and references.

  5. Manuscripts must follow the official Vistar Tech Journal template. Please download the template from the journal’s website.

  6. The recommended structure of the manuscript is as follows:

    • Introduction

    • Method

    • Results

    • Discussion

    • Conclusion
There is no need to restate known theorems; instead, cite them appropriately when necessary.

  7. Each article should include at least 20 references, primarily from recent (last five years) and reputable journals. At least 80% of the references should be from scientific journals.

  8. Authors are required to submit a Publication Ethics Statement along with the manuscript. The detailed ethical policy can be found on the Publication Ethics page of the journal.

  9. All manuscripts submitted to Vistar Tech Journal will undergo a Double-Blind Peer Review process by at least two reviewers. All review and correspondence activities are conducted online via the OJS system, where authors can monitor the progress of their submissions.

  10. The editorial decision timeline varies depending on the complexity and quality of the manuscript. The editors cannot guarantee an exact publication date.

  11. Authors are solely responsible for ensuring they have permission to reproduce figures, data, or software and for addressing all issues related to copyright or intellectual property.

Vistar Tech Journal uses the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform — an open-source journal management and publishing system developed, supported, and freely distributed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP).
