Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines

Authors are requested to submit only manuscripts that have been thoroughly proofread and checked for clarity, coherence, and originality. Manuscripts submitted to Journal V-Code are accepted with the understanding that they represent original work or an extended version of previously published conference papers, and that, if the work has received any official sponsorship, it has been duly authorized for open publication.

Before submission, please ensure that your manuscript has been prepared using the Journal V-Code official paper template. Authors must refer to the Journal V-Code manuscript template (available in .DOCX or LaTeX format) and adhere strictly to the formatting guidelines. The use of reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote is highly recommended, and all references must follow the IEEE citation style. Manuscripts that do not conform to the journal’s formatting and ethical requirements will not be processed for review.

Author’s Guide

  1. Manuscripts written for Journal V-Code must present scientific and technological research results in the fields of informatics, computer science, and information technology. All manuscripts must be written in English.

  2. Journal V-Code does not accept manuscript submissions via email. All submissions must be made through the online submission system (OJS). Authors who do not have an account are required to register prior to submission.

  3. The submitted file must be in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx). The recommended manuscript length should not exceed 15 pages, including figures, tables, and references.

  4. Manuscripts must be formatted according to the official Journal V-Code template. Please download the template from the journal’s website.

  5. The manuscript is recommended to follow the following structure:

    • Introduction

    • Methodology

    • Results

    • Discussion

    • Conclusion

Authors are advised not to include trivial theorems; instead, cite them appropriately when relevant.

  6. The references section should include at least 20 sources, with a preference for publications from the last five years and from reputable international journals. At least 80% of the cited references should be journal articles.

  7. When submitting a manuscript, authors are also required to upload a Publication Ethics Statement. More detailed information regarding the publication ethics can be found in the Publication Ethics section of the journal’s website.

  8. Every submitted manuscript will undergo a double-blind peer review process by at least two qualified reviewers. All review processes are conducted online through the journal management system, and authors can monitor the progress of their submission via their account dashboard.

  9. The editorial decision timeline may vary depending on the quality and completeness of the manuscript. The editorial board cannot guarantee an exact time for publication.

  10. All matters related to copyright, software usage, permissions to reproduce figures or data, or other intellectual property rights are the full responsibility of the authors. Any legal consequences arising from these issues remain with the authors.
